              實(shí)驗室概況:

                MC-ICP-MS實(shí)驗室成立于2003年,主要運用激光剝蝕系統與電感耦合等離子體質(zhì)譜技術(shù)相結合開(kāi)展固體樣品的微區微量元素和同位素分析。針對地學(xué)領(lǐng)域的科學(xué)問(wèn)題,研發(fā)了一系列原位微區微量元素、U-Pb定年、Mg-Si-Ti-Fe-Zr穩定同位素以及Sr-Nd-Hf放射性同位素等分析方法和標準物質(zhì),并將這些方法廣泛應用于巖漿動(dòng)力過(guò)程示蹤、沉積物源分析、變質(zhì)作用元素與同位素行為揭示、精細成礦記錄甄別、大陸地殼形成及造山帶演化等諸多研究領(lǐng)域。

                實(shí)驗室保持高效、開(kāi)放、合作的工作模式,吸引了大批國內外知名學(xué)者來(lái)實(shí)驗室開(kāi)展分析與合作研究。近五年來(lái),先后有澳大利亞、美國、英國、德國、印度、韓國、香港、臺灣等18個(gè)國家和地區的科學(xué)家來(lái)實(shí)驗室進(jìn)行合作研究,并取得了大量突出的成果。利用MC實(shí)驗室分析數據所發(fā)表的國內外SCI論文自2004年之來(lái)一直呈增加趨勢,使MC-ICP-MS實(shí)驗室逐步成為國際原位微區分析的重要基地,不僅提升了我國在該領(lǐng)域國際上的地位和影響,也為國內外地學(xué)科學(xué)家提供了一個(gè)良好的現代地球化學(xué)化學(xué)分析技術(shù)平臺。


              儀器介紹:
              ?  1. 儀器原理:

               ?

                多接收-電感耦合等離子體質(zhì)譜儀的基本結構和原理:

                1)進(jìn)樣系統:包括液體進(jìn)樣和固體進(jìn)樣兩種方式。液體樣品通過(guò)霧化器進(jìn)行霧化并送入電離源,固體樣品需經(jīng)過(guò)激光剝蝕后由載氣送入電離源;

                2)電離源:用于實(shí)現樣品離子化的模塊。ICP(電感耦合等離子體)即為MC-ICP-MS的離子源,樣品被送入該模塊被電離成離子(具體原理參考附件中的“Plasma Source”);

                3)采樣錐和截取錐:離子源形成的等離子體炬處于常壓下,離子傳輸系統和質(zhì)量分析器分別需要低、高真空的環(huán)境。提取接口由采樣錐、截取錐及擴散室組成,實(shí)現了真空環(huán)境的過(guò)渡和等離子體氣流的提取。等離子體氣流在采樣錐口處德拜長(cháng)度約為10-5mm, 遠小于錐孔直徑, 因此等離子體通過(guò)采樣錐的過(guò)程可看作中性氣流的運動(dòng)。在真空壓差的作用下, 等離子體氣流在擴散室迅速膨脹為超聲射束。由于電子密度的下降速度較電子溫度快, 在截取錐孔處德拜長(cháng)度增大為 10-2 mm 數量級,但仍小于截取錐孔直徑, 因此氣流準中性的狀態(tài)延續到了截取錐后。隨后, 電子密度進(jìn)一步下降, 在提取透鏡的負電壓下出現電荷分離, 負電荷粒子被排斥, 形成正離子束。

                4)離子透鏡系統:將離子束傳輸至ESA模塊(靜電分析器),通過(guò)透鏡組電壓參數的調整優(yōu)化,實(shí)現離子傳輸率最大化的同時(shí),將離子束調整至最優(yōu)的形狀;

                5)ESA(靜電分析器):它的作用是實(shí)現離子束的能量聚焦,為后續磁式質(zhì)量分析器提供最佳的離子束入射狀態(tài),以實(shí)現最佳的質(zhì)量分辨率;

                6)離子狀態(tài)調諧透鏡系統:位于磁式質(zhì)量分析器的入口處和出口處,用于離子束形狀的調整和實(shí)現質(zhì)量分析器分析質(zhì)量范圍擴展;

                7)磁式質(zhì)量分析器:整個(gè)儀器的核心,實(shí)現質(zhì)量分析。其原理就是不同質(zhì)量數的離子在磁場(chǎng)運動(dòng)中的偏轉半徑不一樣,從而實(shí)現不同質(zhì)量離子的分離。它是一種位置分辨的質(zhì)量分析器,區別于四級桿質(zhì)量分析器(7500a);

                8)檢測器:經(jīng)過(guò)磁式質(zhì)量分析器分離的不同質(zhì)量的離子被檢測器檢測從而輸出其對應質(zhì)量數的離子強度,實(shí)現半定量或定量分析。多接收的含義也就體現在檢測器上,即有多個(gè)檢測器同時(shí)檢測不同質(zhì)量數的離子。在本實(shí)驗室的MC-ICP-MS上配有9個(gè)檢測器(法拉第杯),也即能夠同時(shí)檢測9個(gè)不同質(zhì)量數的離子。

              美國Agilent公司,型號為7500a的Q-ICP-MS,四級桿質(zhì)譜儀。

              Coherent公司,型號為COMPex Pro的193nm激光剝蝕系統,準分子氣體激光器。

              Photon-machines公司,型號為Analyte G2的193nm激光剝蝕系統,準分子氣體激光器。

              美國Elemental Scientific Lasers公司,型號為NWRFemto UC (DW)的雙波長(cháng)飛秒激光剝蝕系統(257nm和1030nm)。


              實(shí)驗室成員:

              王浩:實(shí)驗室主任,副研究員。主要研究方向:變質(zhì)巖年代學(xué)、巖漿巖地球化學(xué)、前寒武紀地質(zhì)學(xué)。主要研究包括利用地球化學(xué)數據解譯造山過(guò)程的變質(zhì)記錄與地殼演化,地球早期分異以及板塊構造啟動(dòng)等過(guò)程。負責實(shí)驗室研究方向的把握和實(shí)驗室管理。

              工作內容:  

                本實(shí)驗室主要進(jìn)行如下方面的分析測試工作(實(shí)驗室主要方法論著(zhù)及專(zhuān)利):

                1. 礦物激光微區U-Pb定年和元素分析

                為了有效確定地質(zhì)體演化史,厘定自然界不同地質(zhì)單元的形成時(shí)代,實(shí)驗室在研制標樣的基礎上,先后開(kāi)發(fā)了鋯石、榍石、獨居石、磷釔礦、鈮鉭礦、氟碳鈰礦、石榴石、黑鎢礦、錫石、符山石、褐簾石和方解石等礦物的U-Pb激光微區測年和同時(shí)獲得多元素(>30種)含量信息的方法。這些方法為限定復雜地質(zhì)過(guò)程的時(shí)代和屬性提供了重要的研究工具,結合原位微區Sr-Nd-Hf同位素分析,可有效示蹤巖石源區、巖漿混合、地殼混染、變質(zhì)作用等復雜的地質(zhì)過(guò)程。

                2. 礦物原位微區Sr-Nd-Hf同位素分析

                Sr-Nd-Hf同位素是地球化學(xué)領(lǐng)域應用最廣的同位素體系。但一直以來(lái),該同位素主要通過(guò)溶液法進(jìn)行測定,這不僅費時(shí)、耗力,而且不能得到微區的信息。通過(guò)細致的工作,MC-ICP-MS實(shí)驗室開(kāi)發(fā)出了單礦物激光原位Sr-Nd-Hf同位素分析技術(shù),從而使本實(shí)驗室成為世界上最早能開(kāi)展此方法研究的實(shí)驗室之一。目前能夠測定的礦物包括斜長(cháng)石、方解石、單斜輝石、榍石、磷灰石、鈣鈦礦、獨居石、氟碳鈰礦、燒綠石、褐簾石、鋯石、斜鋯石、鈣鈦鋯石、鈦鋯釷礦、鈣鋯鈦礦、異性石、金紅石、鈮鐵礦和錫石等。特別是鈣鈦礦U-Pb年齡、微量元素和Sr-Nd同位素分析方法的建立,為解決金伯利巖的時(shí)代與成因難題提供了重要的研究工具。

                3. 礦物微區Mg-Si-Ti-Fe-Zr非傳統穩定同位素分析

                非傳統穩定同位素是近年來(lái)飛速發(fā)展的重要學(xué)科方向。高精度的溶液非傳統穩定同位素分析不僅揭示了不同地質(zhì)儲庫間的微小差異,還在示蹤表殼物質(zhì)再循環(huán)以及高溫巖漿和成礦過(guò)程等領(lǐng)域中發(fā)揮了重要作用。然而巖漿結晶、多階段變質(zhì)和流體活動(dòng)以及擴散作用等通常會(huì )引起礦物內部極大的同位素環(huán)帶,揭示這些過(guò)程需要精細的微區非傳統穩定同位素分析工作。MC-ICP-MS實(shí)驗室致力于開(kāi)發(fā)微區非傳統穩定同位素分析方法,目前已初步完成了針對橄欖石、石英、金紅石、鈦鐵礦、黃鐵礦和鋯石等礦物的微區Mg-Si-Ti-Fe-Zr等非傳統穩定同位素分析方法開(kāi)發(fā),更多同位素體系的研究工作正在進(jìn)行中。
